Recreational/Grassroots | U9-U12

Our U9-U12 age group members will have the exciting opportunity to be a part of our Grassroots/Recreational division.  This program introduces play against teams from other clubs in the Greater Sacramento area.  Focus is still on player development, but within a growing awareness of team tactics.  

Birth Years: 2014 - 2017

  • Age Groups: Players are divided into two different age groups based on birth year

  • U10 will contain players born in 2016 and 2017

  • U12 will contain players born in 2014 and 2015

Registration Cost/Dates:

  • $225.00 ($25 rebate available when 5 family volunteer hours are completed)

  • Late Registrations will have a charge of $15 applied when completed after March 1, 2026

  • Final Registration Date: March 10, 2026 (Please contact us after this date.  We will do our best to accommodate, subject to team roster sizes.

Program Details:

  • 10+ week program (2 practices / trainings per week, 1.5 hours per training)

  • 7v7 (U9-U10) or 9v9 (U11-U12) format

  • 50-60 minute games, usually on Saturdays

  • Matches in Natomas and at other clubs within the Greater Sacramento area.

  • Matches begin March 14, with final Match on May 26.

  • Play in the Cal North Sierra Valley Metro League.

  • Uniform: $41 (required purchase if player does not have the Natomas FA U9-U19

    Grassroots uniform from 2025)

  • Ball (Size 4) - all players will need a ball for practices, either purchased during registration or

    purchased from any store
